In addition to the Work Experience, Internship, Work Placement and English Language Training Programmes offered by Work Experience UK, the company also offers a service aimed at the organisation and management of Expert Exchanges.

This service is aimed at organisations that would like to organise a short period of 'study' where their primary objective is to learn about how things are done in other countries.

Overview

This service is aimed at working with you to design, develop, manage and evaluate a programme of Expert and Knowledge Exchange.

Work Experience UK will work with you to develop a programme of visits and events that meet your specific requirements in terms of:

  • Content,
  • Duration,
  • Timing,
  • Focus, and
  • Location

Examples of some of the specific Cultural Tours that have been organised to date include:

  • A two week programme for three Business Leaders from Lithuania that wanted to learn more about how the UK exploits available EU funding
  • A two week programme for seven Business Leaders from Lithuania that wanted to learn more about the UKs approach to e-Commerce
  • A one week programme for 12 Academics from france that wanted to learn more about how the UK Universities approached the teaching of foreign languages to disabled students
  • A three week programme for 14 Spanish local government officials that wanted to examine the UKs approach to reducing long term unemployment
