General English

Description:

A general English course for adult students (individuals or groups) who want to improve their English for work purposes. It is also suitable for those who have settled in the UK. Morning classes are Grammar and Skills based (speaking, listening, reading and writing), while the optional afternoon classes, consist of topic- based tutorials (the afternoon classes are for those opting for more than 15 hours of English a week). The focus is on communicating in English and a lot of time is spent assisting students in improving their communication skills, as well as introducing them to British culture. Up-to-date course materials are used for all our courses, especially Oxford and Cambridge ELT material. (A refundable deposit on materials may apply).

Course dates

Year-round courses from 1 to 50 weeks in duration, start every Monday, except on public holidays or as per agreement. Students are required to take a placement test upon arrival to enable us to place them in a class, at a level, suited to their needs.
